Upper Heyford - Followed 3 bloke electrofishing for about a mile (see pic) - pretty mad stuff, they're searching 'Zander', a fish that gets introduced illegally by dodgy fishing blokes an then get aggresive and upset the ecobalance. Following behind we pick up a trail of stunned fish slowly coming to and floating to the surface long enough to check out what they are. Honestly it's more exciting than it sounds. Get to Banbury and stop at the local history and canal museum (as you do) - find the Banbury Cross and are quite thankful we didn't arrive on a cock horse, as the old saying goes. (See pic 6 - me doing the tour guide bit) Lots of stuff about civil war - picture that now - the country set versus the city dwellers, it could just happen!

Moor up outside Upper Heyford and walk into the village on footpaths people must have used for hundreds of years - proper retro.
